My name is Barbara Genske
Hi, I’m Babs — a creative soul with a lifelong passion for art, animals, and family. Originally from Washington State and now happily retired in beautiful Independence, Oregon, I’m finally living my dream: creating expressive, abstract artwork that bursts with color, energy, and emotion. My work is deeply personal, inspired by the movement of nature, the love of my family, and the joy of living creatively every day. Whether I’m experimenting with bold textures or letting vibrant colors flow freely, each piece reflects a part of my heart.
